After four years at Ohio University studying Communications - I set my eyes on the next big adventure - Columbus. I was hired as an intern with RMD Advertising and worked my way up from there - from intern to Social Media Coordinator and Specialist. Working with family-owned and small businesses in the food and beverage industry is RMD's specialty. I wrote and edited copy, planned and created content (via photography, video, shorts, etc.), ran social media campaigns, managed multiple social media platforms, helped with in-studio TV and radio sets (via Zoom), and reported on successes to clientele. I love using my creativity, whether in written or digital form, to tell the story of a brand that matters to me and, in turn, make others believe in the brand as much as I do. Now, onto my next act: freelance. Taking copywriting, content planning, PR, and digital, as well as the overall strategy, into my hands has been eye-opening and rewarding. At our core, I believe that humans are nothing without empathy and collaboration. Some of my best teachings in the workforce have been through what I can gain from actively listening to others - and searching for a more open perspective of the world.
